Mountain bike trails, Victoria
Mountain Bike trails in Victoria, there are many and I have read a lot about how great they are. But considering I have spent at least half of my life in Vic, you would think I would have ridden most of these great trails. We have been up to Bright but never got the chance to ride Mystic Mountain Bike Park also when we were in South Australia riding Fox Creek, they believe that Mt Buller MTB trails were the best, I’m not sold yet! Thredbo still has my vote.
So, in saying that there are many MTB trails near me in Victoria, the ones we have visited are in the Goldfields areas of Bendigo and Castlemaine, then up to Yackandandah and Mt Beauty. Also, a new and hidden fave is Playles’s Hill in Corryong, a small two-trails just at the top of town. It is the the perfect place to stop, re-fuel you and the car, and have a break on the drive to Thredbo for Cannonball MTB festival or the MTB Interschools.
Please keep dropping by as we get to visit more of these trails. We will be sure to put them up. I guess Mystic and Mt Buller are first on the list. I will try to get these two at Christmas.
